产品性能:
（1）质轻
PP纤维的密度为0.90-0.92 g/cm3，在所有化学纤维中是最轻的，比锦纶轻20%，比涤纶轻30%，比粘胶纤维轻40%，因此很适合做冬季服装的絮填料或滑雪服、登山服等的面料。
（2）强度高、弹性好、耐磨、耐腐蚀
丙纶强度高（干态、湿态下相同），是制造渔网、缆绳的理想材料；耐磨性和回弹性好，强度与涤纶和锦纶相似，回弹率可与锦纶、羊毛相媲美，比涤伦、粘胶纤维大得多；丙纶的尺寸稳定性差，易起球和变形，抗微生物，不蛀；耐化学品性优于一般纤维。
（3）具有电绝缘性和保暖性
PP纤维电阻率很高（7×1019Ω.cm），导热系数小，与其他化学纤维相比，丙纶的电绝缘性和保暖性好，但加工时易产生静电。
（4）耐热及耐老化性能差
PP纤维的熔点低（165~173℃），对光和热的稳定性差，所以，丙纶的耐热性、耐老化性差，不耐熨烫。但可以通过在纺丝时加入防老化剂来提高其抗老化性能。
（5）吸湿性及染色性差
PP纤维的吸湿性和染色性在化学纤维中是最差的，几乎不吸湿，其回潮率小于0.03%。细旦丙纶具有较强的芯吸作用，水汽可以通过纤维中的毛细管来排除。制成服装后，服装的舒适性较好，尤其是超细丙纶纤维，由于表面积增大，能更快地传递汗水，使皮肤保持舒适感。由于纤维不吸湿且缩水率小，丙纶织物具有易洗快干的特点。
丙纶的染色性较差，颜色淡，染色牢度差。普通燃料均不能使其染色，有色丙纶多数是采用纺前着色生产的。可采用原液着色、纤维改性，在熔融纺丝前掺混燃料络合剂。

Product performance:
(1) Light weight
The density of polypropylene fiber is 0.90-0.92 g / cm3, which is the lightest of all chemical fibers, 20% lighter than nylon, 30% lighter than polyester, 40% lighter than viscose fiber. Therefore, it is very suitable for winter clothing, such as wadding, ski clothing, mountaineering clothing, etc.
(2) High strength, good elasticity, wear resistance and corrosion resistance
Polypropylene fiber has high strength (same in dry state and wet state), which is an ideal material for making fishing nets and cables; it has good wear resistance and resilience, similar in strength to polyester and nylon, and its resilience is comparable to nylon and wool, which is much larger than polyester and viscose fibers; polypropylene fiber has poor dimensional stability, easy pilling and deformation, is resistant to microorganisms and ca vities; its chemical resistance is better than ordinary fibers.
(3) With ele ctrical insulation and thermal insulation
Polypropylene fiber has high resistivity (7 × 1019 Ω. Cm) and small thermal conductivity. Compared with other chemical fibers, polypropylene fiber has the best ele ctrical insulation and thermal insulation, but it is easy to produce static ele ctricity during processing.
(4) Poor heat and aging resistance
Polypropylene fiber has low melting point (165 ~ 173 ℃), poor stability to light and heat, so it has poor heat resistance, aging resistance and ironing resistance. But aging resistance can be improved by adding anti aging agent when spinning.
(5) Poor hygroscopicity and dyeing
The hygroscopicity and dyeability of polypropylene fiber are the worst in chemical fiber, almost non hygroscopic, and its moisture regain is less than 0.03%. Fine denier polypropylene fiber has a strong wicking effe ct, and water vapor can be eliminated by capillary in the fiber. After the clothing is made, the comfort of the clothing is better, espe cially the ultra-fine polypropylene fiber, be cause of the increase of the surface area, it can transfer sweat faster and keep the skin comfortable. Be cause the fiber is not hygroscopic and the shrinkage is small, the polypropylene fabric is easy to wash and dry.
The dyeing property of polypropylene fiber is poor, the color is light, and the dyeing fastness is poor. It can't be dyed by ordinary fuel. Most of the colored polypropylene fibers are produced by pre spinning coloring. It can be used to dye the original solution, modify the fiber, and mix fuel complexing agent before melt spinning.
